The driver was taken to the hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival. Investigators suspect a possible health issue because of the way the man drove into the intersection.
One of the other drivers refused medical treatment at the scene while the third was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
When people are injured or killed in a car accident that is the fault of another party, compensation may be due. People often seek compensation for tangible losses, such as injuries and medical expenses, but they may also be entitled to compensation for pain and suffering. It is important for victims and their families to become aware of all applicable rights in order to facilitate recovery in such circumstances. Seeking legal advice in such circumstances would be a good first step.
