Toyotas recalled after discovery of safety system issues

Drivers in Georgia may be interested in a new recall affecting almost 300,000 vehicles worldwide. The cars have an electrical issue that can increase the chances of an accident if not fixed, though the manufacturer stated that no related accidents have been reported.

GM recalls vehicles for faulty ignition switches

GM issued a massive recall of 778,562 vehicles after six deaths were reported in accidents that involved defective ignition switches in the vehicles. The models involved were the 2005-2007 Chevrolet Cobalt and the 2007 Pontiac G5 compacts, and the recall might affect vehicle owners in Georgia.

Aston Martin issues recall

Georgia residents who have purchased an Aston Martin vehicle since 2007 may soon receive notice of the company's recent recall. Nearly 18,000 Aston Martins from around the world were recalled by the manufacturer due to possible issues with the vehicles' accelerator pedal arms that could leave them incapable of maintaining speed or accelerating during normal driving conditions and thereby increase the drivers' risks of being injured in an auto accident.

2 injured in accident involving poultry truck

An early-morning Georgia accident on Jan. 27 left two people injured and numerous chickens loose on the road. Both the drivers of a car and of a poultry truck were injured in an auto accident that happened around 5:35 a.m. on Highway 129 at the intersection of Lenox Drive in Gainesville.
